Oh my Budman. When I look out across the acre and see you standing, I am filled with such love.
You still look as good as the you did the day we brought you home, nearly seven years ago. I thought you would be a youngster forever.
and today my dashing boy, you are turning 13 years old.

Your post reminds me of our Lilac. I thought when we adopted her at seven and a half that we'd be giving her a nice home for her final years. Now, eight years later, she's still with us. I love the sweetness of the senior dogs!
