The Happy Dance

Hey Mickey! Time to rock 'n' roll.

Nobody quite does it like Mickey.

It's the scoop.

The leap.

And the happy dance begins.

Name that twin

And how are the twins doing you ask?

Oh, I could say just the same.

But the reality is, they are awesome. They have both settled in like they have always been here. Slinky is still the lady.

And Jillian, well she is the party girl. Always up for a good time.

The bottom line, even with a whole acre and other friends, the twins remain inseparable.

Perfect for picking

I went out this afternoon to pick a few cherries off of the tree, they are perfect right now.

I didn't expect to find Mickey following me, and helping himself.

He seemed to enjoy himself tremendously.

Karen had to show Moose what the fuss was all about.

Moose was pretty sure this was the next best thing to a raw, meaty bone.

He searched all of the lower branches looking for cherries.

They both found the same cherry.

And all was fair in love and war and picking cherries.

Flo on the Go

I celebrated a lazy, rainy day today. I didn't even leave the house.

Flo wanted to play. She grabbed her toy and was off.

Flo loves to run with her toys.

The kid will race with the wind for... 30 sec.

An Oregon Waterfall

Up one very dusty road

And down a very narrow, steep and rocky road

And then a hike on a very steep and rocky unmaintained trail (my thighs are still sore four days later), we come to this, probably one of the most stunning waterfalls in Oregon.

Thanks to a very dead refrigerator that morning we got a much later start than we should have and I was fighting the sun the entire time there.

As the sun worked its way over the canyon top, the beautiful green of the water started to come out.

The reflections in the creek downstream were equally wonderful.

And for the bonus round, the wild iris were in full bloom.
