Follow that hound

Danny was out back when something caught his attention on the other side of the fence.

This series of photos certainly isn't my best work, but when I looked back over them...

I was amused by the fact that every time the shutter clicked,

Danny was on his back legs.

The greyhounds have a fenced acre that they call home.

And I think that is a pretty long distance to run two-legged.

Great job! Having just spent the day taking photos of running dogs (me on the ground in the snow lol) I appreciate how hard it is.

Hmmmmm so you greyhounds like to run on just two of your legs???? Interesting. I will be sure to inform Mr. Pip. It may be easier to 'trip' Miss Bunny up ;)

LOL...those blue ghs, you never know about them. ;)

It is a cool series though. We have about an acre fenced in as well. We have it sectioned where there is just a smaller potty area and a gate that opens to allow them to run in the rest of the area. I get concerned about letting them out to do their business in - 16 degree weather and them running out too far, get into trouble. So when we are at our coldest here, it is an in and out trip until it warms up a bit. You know, they really don't seem to mind and seem smart enough to just come back in without being told. However, I am a worry wart so this is what we do to make sure they don't freeze something off out there! ;)

Danny, I can't believe the mockery you have to endure! You're a good sport!

Flocko, I would be happy to run with you anytime! If you want to come over and coach me for the big race, I'll be more than happy for your help!

Very talented to run on only two legs, you could teach my mutts a thing or two!
Great shots, Carol
