My new fast friend

I visited the Oregon Garden today, well, rather I was up there for a wedding. I stopped at this sweet little waterfall to take a picture.

When a blue heron flew in and landed on the other side of the pond. He really stretched his neck to check me out.

He posed for awhile. I'm sure he was quite thankful that the only way I could get any closer was to swim.

As quickly as he landed, he was off again.

Oh well, I guess it's time to make new friends at the Pet Blog Hop.

Beautiful waterfall, beautiful bird, amazing focus (on his yellow on, and the water droplets from his feet.)

Hi Y'all,

What wonderful pictures of the waterfall and heron. My Humans favorite is the heron taking off.

Y'all come by now,

Gorgeous! Mom's planning a trip there later this summer with a group of her friends. Now, if I was there, I'd have been swimming in that pond.....Probably why she said I couldn't go.

What a beautiful waterfall! I'm jealous again of all the pretty places you have near you to take pictures at. That heron was awfully nice to be such a cooperative model, too!

OMG! What amazing photos! I always see Blue Herons and Storks around our lakes here in MN, but I have never been able to capture pictures like you did. So glad I stopped by to see them on the blog hop!
