Comin' at ya

When the camera comes out, I usually position myself at the back of the acre and watch the greyhounds fly toward me.

Cinderella took flight a 1:38:06 and arrived in my lap an acre later at 1:38:09.

I don't think she ever had four feet on the ground at once.

She never took her eye off of the prize.

And as she got closer, I saw the twinkle of mischief in her eyes.

I was totally prepared to be flattened.

I didn't waiver and Cinderella didn't waiver, she just kept coming.

Note: neither human nor hound were injured in the making of this series. Light on her feet, Cinderella swerved at the last moment.

Take flight and join us for the Saturday pet blog hop.

Cinderella, you're a cute little princess! I have been trying to catch a full on running shot, but haven't quite caught what I want yet. Although, I'm going to have to wait for warmer weather anyway!

It is amazing how they can swerve at the last split-second. Love these shots! She is poetry in motion. Have a lovely weekend.

I'm always torn between laughter and panic when Beryl does this to me on a fairly regular basis. She thinks it's great fun to try and scare the s**t out of Mum:-) Great photos of Cinderella. Were they taken in Sports mode, obviously on burst;-)

Such greyt photos again. It's really hard when something is coming toward you to keep it in focus. Love this series. Beautiful.

Greyt series of photos!

Yep I have learned (some what painfully), over the years, when faced with a pack of bee-ling hounds to stand completely still. You move, *you lose*. ;)

'Bee-lining' greyhounds... I guess I have been run over enough to knock the 'spell-checker' out of me. ;)

We saw you on the Blog Hop. Greyt pics. You are beautiful. Thought we'd drop by and say Woof. Nice to meet you. Awesome to watch a Greyt move. WE had one who was M & D's soul mate. She was one of the last ones off the Idaho track when it closed. Someday M says she is going to do posts about the dogs they had before us.
Stop by & visit if you'l like. We like meeting new furriends.
