Although all the hounds were excited to see me (they all recognise me as a greyhound fan), my boys went the extra bit to show that they were mine: insane yelping from fab stuck on the balcony and omo's stretching to reach and go nose to nose with me.

they're at the mothership where my first dog came from. tamale always recognised cathy no matter how many months or even years went by. it's amazing.

flocko's very handsome.IHateToasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04633931901451915280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17927637.post-30823081569654432712011-03-20T20:15:28.020-07:002011-03-20T20:15:28.020-07:00This is such a special story! She had mischief in her eyes, a cheeky grin, ever so cute freckles and 1 ear up and 1 down:) I had no idea what the rest of her looked like! And it didn't matter, I was hooked. I'm even more hooked having had the pleasure of living with her for almost a year now.Greyhounds CAN Sithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03178195107110286989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17927637.post-83197707363326544142011-03-19T15:33:18.325-07:002011-03-19T15:33:18.325-07:00Oh sigh...that is such a good story. That shy, beautiful KD Tom Sawyer has blossomed from a spook to a goofy lovable boy! But I can say, I never met a greyhound that I didn't love!Mad Red Harehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07129668480876429229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17927637.post-88840939388705021702011-03-19T11:23:17.456-07:002011-03-19T11:23:17.456-07:00Sorry! ...*swoon* Like we didn't already love Flocko!

My love story is a long one! My heart was broken after my first Greyhound passed away, and then a month later, I went back to the kennel. I met dozens of dogs, but none were right. Then they offered to let me meet a new dog they'd just gotten in. The tiniest little Greyhound I'd ever seen walked in, leaned against my leg and just gazed at me. I was smitten, and still am almost three years later.Blueberryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17368484492661225157noreply@blogger.com
